Congrats Mike Graduate of 2010

I am so proud of my husband Mike for all the hard work and it feels sooo good to FINALLY be in a position to say IT IS OVER!!! YOU DID IT!!! Now i get my husband back yeah! Mike has finally received his bachelors degree is and on May 2nd we got to go to his graduation and celebrate. It was so great to have my mom come and Mikes parents come and support him. I remember whan he started school part time and that was only what in between and 7 years ago? not sure it has been so long it is almost a blur. It was so long and it felt at times like i never had a husband because he was so busy with work and school and studying it was crazy and now it has finally paid off and i deserve a second honeymoon don't you think? So to my husband...I love you so much and i am so proud of all you have accomplished and all you do and sacrifice for our family. You are an amazing man and i know there isn't anything you can't accomplish and won't accomplish. Congrats and we love you so much!

Miss My Girls!!

So Brooklynn and Aydan have been in Utah for 11 days now and i am missing them like CRAZY!!! I haven't ever been away from them for longer than 3 days and it is so sad when i see mothers with their little kids especially at church when Aydan used to snuggle on my lap during sacrament. It is true i needed a break but now i know how much my girls are a part of me in every way and i am so blessed to have them in my life and how much joy and laughter they bring as well. Mike sent me this video of them jumping on the jumpaline as Aydan calls it doing splits in the air. I was laughing and crying at the same time. Oh how i miss my sweet sweet girls. I am excited they get to come home this weekend for Mikes graduation. I am sure Aydan will stay home she has been calling for the last few days saying she wants to come home....awwww mysweet little one misses...MADI? Yep she calls to talk to Madi not me....(tears) which is funny cause she is soooo mean to Madison all the time when they are together which is odd but maybe she will be nicer now that they are apart.....ha ha not...she is three. But i can dream! Oh well i love them all so much! I miss my family being together....soon enough though at least it is not a year right? Sorry if this video is sideways....sometimes i hate the phone videos.

What the hail?

So the last few days have been rainy, and i know we have had hail storms in the past but this is my first documentation of one. We got sooo much hail today and i am glad it wasn't as big as a few years ago when they were golf ball size, but it was still a bit scary and loud and to add tornado sirens going off i hate not having Mike here when scary things happen. Especially when a tornado hit the mall a while ago around the corner from our house was a bit close to home and now i know it can hit anywhere at anytime without notice. I will not miss this part of Colorado when we leave for Utah. The weather is so crazy and unpredictable and i will be glad to leave it behind. It looks like snow doesn't it?

Madison's REALLY Bad Day!!

Okay so as some of you heard Madison got into a really bad bike accident her first day of spring break, So let me tell you how her day went. We were already having a bad morning with Madi getting a shot at the doctors and Madi being sooo over dramatic about it as always. We got to the doctors and found out she was behind and needed a total of three shots instead of one...so think of this as a play and Madi is your lead Drama Queen actress. I got all sorts of things from her like "i will call the police and tell them child abuse on you" or "I am running away you are sooo mean." Ect..... Fun for me. And then when we got home she would say "I can't move my arm."...most of the morning. Finally when her friend Hailey came over to play she made a miraculous recovery to go ride bikes. Well about an hour after she had been out Brookie comes and says Madi is bleeding BAD! I had a baby i was watching and couldn't just run to her to help. So i told her to have Madi walk home. Well as i am waiting i see her coming and she was bleeding from the nose her chin was sliced open her knees were all scratched and bleeding skin hanging off her fingers and she had a fat lip and her nose was swollen. Well Mike came home and looked at it and said she needed stitches so he took her to her Doctors and the same nurse was there from this morning and said.."Your back already? What happened?" And from what Mike told me the Doc was pretty shakey and lost the needle in her chin at first and freaked out...but she found it and got her all of 3 stitches to close up her gap. So Madison had a very bad spring break hanging out at home no swimming or fun so she could heal. And this for the record is Madison's first ever tragedy accident or whatever so it was very traumatic for her....Poor Madi.

Here are my late pictures of St Patricks Day. I love how Aydan when asked to see her tattoo she does a "Let me show you my Muscles too." look. We made some brownies with green frosting yummy as you can see we had fun licking the batter too.

Fine Art

Okay so i am learning so many things with my photography and wanted to share my first fine art portrait. It is 100% original all mine the barn shot and editing all mine. I can't tell you how exciting this is for me and i actually love this picture so much i am going to print it and hang it in my house...who knows maybe it will be worth something some day....like when i die...ha ha lol. I will post a few more i am working on and these will be a part of my fine art. The next one will be a wedding or something and any feedback you may have will help...like is this something you would buy yourself. I am just so excited i had to share this with my family and friends. And i do love this barn and glad i could capture it since it is off limits to everyone and almost got arrested for trespassing....ahhh good memories.

Brooklynns 5th B-day

This is such a late post ...sorry Brookie. I lost one of my flash drive cards and of course this was her b-day but finally after searching Mike found it in the strangest place. So here are her pictures we didn't post. She had a princess party and had all her friends dress up and come over.

Aydan Sleeps.....Anywhere.

Aydan asleep with her toy lizard in her mouth and sword in hand.....She really worked hard to kill many villans this day. Wore her clean out.

Aydan and our Bailey we miss you sweet dog. Aydan tucked her dog in before falling asleep herself.

In this picture Aydan used to have a hard time sleeping in her own room and would get out of bed a few times in the middle of the night. At first she would crash outside our door she did it every night and we never knew she was there. I felt so bad at first cause she had no blanket or pillow to sleep with so we put one there and when Mike would get up to go to work.....there she would be asleep in front of our door....soon she realized she could make it inside our room in to our bed but after so long it got old and we were losing sleep so we retrained her to stay in her room....yea now she only visits us a maybe once a week if that yea.
And finally Aydan worked so hard building her pillow bridge and crossing it it many times she lay down with a snack and fell asleep once again with snack in hand. My sweet Aydan can just about sleep anywhere with anything in hand or mouth. If she is tired so be it. i had just better not catch her sleeping in the street after a hard day of riding bikes....that would be bad.

My girls are good sports.

I love having my beautiful girls that are somewhat cooperative to help me practice my photography..okay so you can tell in this one with Brookie Aydan wouldn't smile..she is the hardest but good practice to learn how to work with her age group. I just sat them on my bed and used some natural light from the window to create the hopefully elegant pictures of my girls and hope to get Madi in as soon as she has a moment or two with heck tic play rehearsals and all...she is doing the play Bye Bye Birdie in March and can't wait to see it and see her scream for Conrad Birdie.....lol. Thanks for letting me share my passion once in a while.

Happy New Years!!!

The Girls passes out at about 10 as you can see we didn't get to finish our new years celebration...but after shopping all day and fireworks they were pretty tuckered out.
We had left over fireworks from July so we pulled them out and even though it was freezing outside the girls were good sports and very excited for the show.
And when Mike pulled out the noisy ones that made loud bangs....yep Ayda always freeked out love this pictures of her face it is priceless...they were safe under blankets in the back of the truck.

Christmas 2009

So i was at the store christmas shopping and i came across this Dallas Cowboys Barbie doll...oh ya i couldn't resist even for a joke since Mike is a die hard fan and it was great watching his reaction. maybe if he keeps it in the box and nice it could be worth some money some day...who knows..lol
